After travelling to Cairns over 40 years ago, I fell in love with this incredible place and have never looked back! I’m passionate about our vibrant, diverse community and the stunning tropical lifestyle we all enjoy here. That passion led me to put my hand up for local government, and I’ve proudly served as a Councillor for the past 10 years. I’m also the Founding Director of Boldlyigo Inc., an organisation that has supported education for children in Kenya through sponsorship for over 15 years.
Outside of work, I’m a proud mum and nana to eight wonderful grandchildren. In my spare time, I love hiking, Cairns and the surrounding region offer some amazing tracks.
